Hi! Is it normal that my car auto brakes when I am reversing? I mean, I know it is because of the sensors. But sometimes there is nothing that could act as an obstacle.

Those sensors can be too sensitive in tricky environments. It's a known issue but it's still annoying. Things like reflections or even wet leaves can trigger them. You might be able to adjust the sensor sensitivity or clean them. If it keeps happening a lot tell your dealer. Has anyone else had this problem?

If it's happening all the time, it could be worth checking for any updates or recalibrating the sensors. but if it's only once in a while, maybe the system's just reacting to things like the surface texture or lighting around you
