According to the owner’s manual, there’s a feature that automatically locks the car if it’s left unlocked for over 60 seconds and no key is detected inside. However, this doesn’t seem to be working on my car. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

If the manual says it should auto-lock after 60 seconds and yours isn’t doing it, something’s definitely off. It could be a software issue, or maybe a sensor isn’t detecting the key properly. I’d bring it up with the dealer, especially if others start reporting the same thing.

It could also be a setting thing. Have you taken a look at the car's settings? Maybe that feature just needs to be turned on in the menu. If that's not it, I’d say hit up the dealer for help!

Yes, there is actually one. The "Auto Lock" must be turned on. I don't know why, but for some cars it defaults to off on some cars.
