My Solterra Limited's voice commands don't work right. The radio keeps playing while I'm talking. Anyone here know what's happening?

This might be related to how Subaru's system manages audio priorities during voice commands. In the Solterra, audio doesn't fully mute during certain functions, unlike the Ascent. You can check settings for audio interruption preferences or system updates.

Wow, I'm seriously reconsidering the Solterra after hearing about these issues. I'm thinking about the ID.4 now. You're right, it's a joint venture with Toyota, so they're probably waiting for Toyota's guidance. It's unacceptable to not be able to drive your car while you're still making payments!

First, try updating your stereo. Then use the voice command to pair your phone. Don't use the stereo's Bluetooth menu. Just press the voice command button and follow the on-screen instructions. You can also remove any old devices that are already paired.
