Ever since my entertainment system randomly rebooted, the front camera turns on every time I stop, showing the intersection view with a "Check the surroundings for safety" message. It even pops up when I turn into my driveway 25 feet from the house. I can close it by tapping the X, but it comes right back the next time I stop. I can’t find any setting to disable it, has anyone else dealt with this? These so-called safety features feel more like a distraction!

I totally get the frustration! I've been driven crazy by these 'safety' features that end up being more of a distraction. It sounds like that reboot messed with something deep in the system. I'd recommend searching online forums and owner groups specific to your car model. I've found that other owners are often the best source for these kinds of obscure issues. Someone might have found a hidden setting or a workaround.

Yeah, it feels like the reboot triggered something. I’ll dig through owner forums and see if anyone’s found a fix. These “helpful” features can be more annoying than useful, thanks

Can you check your manual to see if there is a connection between the brakes and the camera turning on as it would during a parking sequence?
