What's happening with my system?

The multimedia system acted up tonight, rebooting during a highway exit. I suspect it might be connected to the digital key maintenance I was notified about.
 
Subaru’s infotainment systems have been known to be a bit glitchy so I wouldn’t be surprised if the digital key update caused this. If this is just a one-time thing it might not be a big deal but if the system keeps rebooting randomly, I’d definitely take it to the dealer. Software bugs like this can sometimes get worse over time if not patched.
 
My system kept doing random reboots too. Ended up being so because my phone had like 10,000 contacts synced to the car... imagine that. Try disconnecting your phone and see if the reboots stop. If they do, might need to limit what syncs from your phone to the car.
 
Id bet dollars to donuts that digital key update is to blame. Those software updates can be a real pain especially when they're fresh off the press.. Maybe try resetting the whole system yourself, or better yet, take it down to the dealership and tell them exactly what went down, especially about that digital key thing.
