Solterra connect renewal and charging limits

After a year of owning the Solterra, do I need to renew the Subaru Solterra Connect app and pay for it— o keep setting the maximum charging limit directly on the car? I already set it through my home charger’s app, but I want both the vehicle and charger to enforce the limit. If anyone has experience with this, I’d appreciate the insight. Thanks
 
Thanks for the info, I checked the link and confirmed the app is free for accessing Subaru's services. It sounds like I can keep managing the charge limit directly through the car or charger app.
