I'm having some frustrating issues with the cruise control on my new 2023 Subaru Solterra Touring. Sometimes it works perfectly fine, and other times I get the "Cruise control not available. Check owners manual" mesage. I've checked the manual, but haven't found any specific information about this issue.

Has anyone else experienced this problem with their Solterra?

I saw the same message before and mashed a bunch of buttons. Luckily, it cleared up in like 10 minutes. Honestly though, can’t really remember the deets.

Yeah, the Solterra's cruise control is a bit of a head-scratcher at first. It's definitely not your typical system. I've found the best way to use it is to set the desired speed with the "A" button, then use the +/- buttons for adjustments. To temporarily disengage, hit the cancel button. If you want to resume the previous speed, just tap the resume button.

I haven't noticed a separate adaptive cruise control. It seems to be a more traditional system, but maybe I'm missing something.

Thanks for the tips @Lbutera036 @manjohn90 I'll try that out. These are things I can't find in the manual. Or maybe I was just reading it wrong.
